* The outsourcing story continues as workforces change
A global "people cloud", in which employees work for multiple companies across the globe, will soon transform the workplace, an employment expert, quoted in businessday this week, believes.
The standard structure of a company, with its organisational chart and separate departments, would become a thing of the past, as employees organised themselves into groups that were linked to things they were passionate about, rather than being bound to a single company.
We’re seeing the tipping point of this trend right here at The Accountants’ RePublic, with firms who are outsourcing accounting and tax and a wide range of administration services.
Even our own Victoria Cornelius, Viv’s Executive Assistant for more than five years, is in the midst of setting up her own Virtual Assistant (VA) service for firms who need an experienced and expert EA, but just on a part time and not ‘in their face’ basis. This is a highly cost effective way of gaining the support you need, without the price tag and pressure that can come with a full time resource. Victoria has just three spaces left for this service, so if you’re interested, contact her on firstname.lastname@example.org

* Important Reminder
Discount codes have been issued to all fully published members. These codes apply to The Complete Business Advisor Programme and provide a minimum of 25% off. Fully published means that your firm profile is complete and you show in the SME search. If you meet these requirements and have not received your codes, please contact Pippa. If your profile is not complete talk to Pippa as she can help you.
Firms will be receiving their printed programme in the mail. Take the time to have a look and discuss with your team members.
The first webinar is next Tuesday on Developing a Client Experience Strategy. We have listened to the content and seen the online programme that is complimentary to the worthwhile information given during the webinar. This is all relevant, practical and valuable material. How your clients interact with you and your firm in every aspect is highly important to your firm's name and brand.
* New benefits for completing your firm profile in full.
Firstly your profile has to be fully completed to enable your firm to appear in the public search for an accountant and that is, of course, greatly beneficial.
However, we here at The Accountants' RePublic has been working to transfer our knowledge centre onto a new ecommerce platform. Within the next couple of weeks, all firms who have fully completed their firm and staff profiles will receive a full member code.
This code will give you discounts on much of our content and will on some content, allow you to download it completely for free. Not having a full profile will see you paying full price or a nominal fee.
